In the year 2000 Dr. Nargish Marjhan was awarded for best result (gold medal) for obtaining 1st position in DUMS qualifying examination by Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh.
Justice Shawkat Ali former Chairman of Trustee Board of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh, presented the honorary award to Dr. Nargish Marjhan in a grand ceremony. Justice Shawkat Ali appreciate her effort and the outstanding result and whish she will dedicate her knowledge to develop Unani and Ayurvedic sector for the better healthcare system, which will help mass people in the future.
She has authored research articles on medicinal plants, published in the Journal of Hamdard University Bangladesh.
